The Human Development Lab at Florida Atlantic University's Department of Psychology is recruiting children between 5-16 years old to study developmental changes in children's abilities to recognize human faces and facial expressions.
Participation involves a one-time visit to our lab located at Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus. Visits for one child participating in one study last between 1.5-3.5 hours. Children complete face perception tasks on computers and their key/button and gaze responses are recorded. They may also complete a paper-and-pencil face matching task, a short memory task, and attention and cognitive flexibility tasks. Lab visits are available on weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings. Parking is free and participants receive $40-$60 in gift cards for participation in one study.
We are offering up to $100 in gift cards to participate in our studies.
